When grown as a microgreen this pea produces a more tendrils than any of our other peas. Light green in color they are also a bit paler than the others. This can be exaggerated by limiting their exposure to light.

Pea shoots, also known as pea microgreens, usually have very prominent root systems, which is why it is primarily grown in soil. The roots like to burrow and explore the soil while taking hold so the shoots can start "shooting" up. It is possible to get them to thrive with the right hydroponic medium.
