Ananas melons are sweet, juicy and soft. These French melons are easy to grow at home, and produce productive yields. Fruits have orange-yellow rinds with a netting texture and white flesh that becomes yellow when mature. About 1200 Seeds per ounce.

They typically grow to be 4.5-5.5 lbs with vines 3-10’ long. Direct sow seeds in full sun in spring, 1” below soil surface. Place hills 12” apart and rows 36” apart. Melons are ready for harvest after 90-110 days. They are sweet with a strong delicious smell similar to pineapple.
